Abbeydale was originally a Victorian Property which was built in the 1880’s. It is a beautiful home which is full of character. All extensions have been carefully planned to ensure that the character of the original building is maintained whilst also providing up to date purpose built accommodation for the elderly.
Abbeydale is set on two floors and is serviced by a passenger lift.
The lounges and conservatory are decorated to a very high standard and there is always a vibrant atmosphere with background music playing. The lounges and conservatory overlooks and leads onto a beautifully kept garden area which has a well maintained lawn and peaceful sitting areas. Residents can also view the local church activities from the garden area.
All areas of the home are accessible by wheelchairs.
The bedrooms are large in size and are tastefully decorated with matching bedding and curtains. There are two double bedrooms which are perfect for a married couple. The majority of bedrooms enjoy en-suite facilities or if not are located nearby toilet and washing facilities. All bedrooms are equipped with a T.V point and a Nurse Call system. Abbeydale encourage residents and family members to personalise bedrooms and have a telephone installed if they wish.
